Each reflected on the Godly men who had guided and shaped their lives—the fathers, mentors, and brothers in Christ whose faith left an unmistakable mark. That night, a shared desire took root: not only to keep growing as men of faith, but to create a way for other men to rise with them—to become stronger leaders, husbands, fathers, and servants of Christ.
From that conversation, Ascent Ministries was born.
Our Mission:
The mission of Ascent is simple but powerful:
“To glorify God by providing opportunities for Christian men to grow in faith, brotherhood, and service through activities and fellowship, guided by biblical principles.”
(Hebrews 13:1 – “Let brotherly love continue.”)
Our Purpose:
Ascent exists to equip and encourage Christian men to strengthen their faith and relationships through service, study, and fellowship.
Through events, programs, and shared experiences, we seek to promote spiritual growth, leadership development, and Christian brotherhood—open to all who wish to participate in accordance with biblical values.
The Ascent Begins
This is just the start of something bigger than ourselves—a movement of faith, brotherhood, and purpose.

Ethan is a dedicated member of the North Bradley Church of Christ, where he also serves as the youth minister. Ethan is married to his wife, Riina, and together they share their home with three dogs Sadie, Callie, and Daytona. In his free time, Ethan enjoys golfing, riding motorcycles, and playing softball. Ethan was a Collegiate Baseball player for Bryan College, playing as their catcher. He still loves the sport and helps many players through coaching and mentoring. He’s also an avid Miami Hurricanes fan, faithfully cheering them on every season.

Bradley is a dedicated member of the Mars Hill Church of Christ and a proud Navy veteran, having served as a Seabee. In his free time, Bradley enjoys fishing and spending time outdoors. He is currently pursuing a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries at Cleveland State Community College. Known for his strong biblical knowledge and natural leadership, Bradley strives to guide others with wisdom and faith.

Max is a proud member of the North Bradley Church of Christ. Max has a passion for motorcycles, whether on the road, racetrack, or dirt trails, and is an enthusiast of all things automotive. He also enjoys golfing, hiking, photography, traveling, and spending time out in nature, especially on the river. Max’s creativity and love for adventure play a key role in helping share the mission of Ascent Ministries with others.

Tyler Bowling is a devoted member of the Mars Hill Church of Christ in Athens, Tennessee. He is married to his wife, Andalynn, who faithfully supports him in his work and ministry. Tyler is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Southern New Hampshire University. Guided by a sincere commitment to faith, Tyler possesses a deep passion for leading souls to Christ and strengthening others in their walk with God. In his free time, he finds joy in studying the Scriptures and spending time outdoors, often enjoying the hardships and trials that come with a day of fishing.

Avery Jones- Director of Fellowship and Recreation
Eli is a devoted member of the North Bradley Church of Christ and is blessed with his wife, Brooklyn. In his free time, Eli enjoys spending time on the golf course. He is also an excellent singer and well-versed in music, using his talents to glorify God both in and out of worship

Avery is a faithful member of the East Side Church of Christ. Originally born in Vietnam and adopted as an infant, Avery’s life is a testimony to God’s providence and grace. He enjoys golfing, both for fun and in competition, as well as playing softball. A former running back for Faulkner University, Avery’s competitive spirit shines through in everything he does. He is a skilled welder and enjoys working on cars and trucks in his spare time. With a wealth of biblical knowledge, Avery has shared God’s Word by preaching at numerous congregations throughout Southeast Tennessee.
